Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting my online store! As a sole proprietor artist based in Ontario, Canada, I appreciate your support. Please read below for details on how your art prints are created and shipped.

1. Production & Fulfillment

All art prints are made to order. This means I do not hold inventory; instead, each item is printed just for you once your order is placed.

  • Production Time: Please allow 2–5 business days for your order to be printed and quality-checked before it is shipped.
  • Order Cutoff: Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will begin the fulfillment process the following business day.

2. Shipping

Once your order is printed, shipping times depend on your location. These are estimates and not guarantees:

  • Canada: 3 to 7 business days
  • USA: 3 to 7 business days
  • International: 3 to 15 business days

Estimated shipping time will be provided at checkout based on your location.

Note: Shipping times may vary during peak seasons (like the holidays).

3. Customs, Duties & Taxes (Important)

Taehunlee.com is based in Canada, but I work with a global network of print partners to fulfill orders as close to you as possible.

  • For Canadian Customers: Most orders ship from facilities within Canada (Toronto, Ontario). However, in rare cases due to stock availability, an item may ship from a US facility. You will not be charged extra duties upon delivery for standard shipments.

  • For US Customers: Most orders ship from facilities within the US (Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX) via USPS or FedEx. You will not be charged extra duties upon delivery for standard shipments.

  • For International Customers (Outside Canada and US): We cannot guarantee that you will not be charged customs taxes or duties. Any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or other fees imposed by your country’s customs department are the sole responsibility of the customer. These fees are not included in the shipping price and are collected by the carrier upon delivery. Please check your local customs office for more information before placing an order.

4. How We Package Your Art

We take extreme care to ensure your art arrives safely.

  • Small Prints (8x10"): Shipped in rigid, stay-flat mailers.
  • Large Prints (12x16" and up): Carefully rolled in protective tissue paper and shipped in heavy-duty triangular mailing tubes to prevent rolling and crushing.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been printed and a shipping label is created, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the tracking information to update once the carrier receives the package.

6. Lost Packages

If your tracking number states "Delivered" but you have not received it, please check with your local post office or neighbours first. If the package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, please reach out using the Contact Form so I can assist you.

7. Return & Exchange Policy

Because every art print is made-to-order specifically for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

However, if your print arrives damaged, creased, or contains a manufacturing error (such as the wrong size or image), we will happily send you a replacement free of charge. We stand behind the quality of our art.

  • How to report an issue: Please complete the Contact Form within 14 days of delivery.
  • What to include: Your Order Number, a detailed explanation and a clear photo of the damage (both the print and the packaging).
  • Resolution: We will ship a replacement copy to you at no extra cost. You do not need to return the damaged item to us; please recycle it.
